Trade River Winery

The "tone for the afternoon wine tasting adventure was set", as the 15 Rowdy Red Hat Mamas arrived,and were promptly greeted by owner, Chris, and staff member Patty Richert,with genuine enthusiasim and a very sincere "glad that you are here" welcome.

The disappointment at our not being able to sit outside, at the beautiful patio and deck areas, because of the rain, was quickly put aside, as we were seated in the " lovely indoor area" above the Winery's gift & retail sales shop.

Enjoying the 5 different wines that Chris so expertly introduced and talked about, with nibbles of cheese, crackers, fruit & sweets, and of course chocolate, in-between, was a fantastic experience for all. Each Red Hatter found one or more "favorites", among the wines presented.

The knowledge, expertise and genuine cordiality of the "staff" made the experience " enjoyable & unforgetable".

As the rain let up,and we were able to head outside to enjoy the beautiful grounds, (and of course a visit to the "gift shop",) the Rowdy Red Hat Mama's enjoyed a leisurely stroll, and selected wines to "enjoy at home", before reluctantly getting back into our cars, signaling an end to the "wine tasting adventure".
Thank's again, for a great time. We all plan to return to the Trade River Winery, again, and again and again.
